Kise de pinde utte loko jaat da koi nishan nahin;
Kise nun chhota vadda karke ghalya koi bhagwan nahin. Rab de ghar da booha sanjha koi nirdhan dhanwan nahin; Is de dar da booha sanjha koi raja darbaan nahin. Fikiyan ne sab jag diyan preetan is di sachchi preeti ey; Kahe avtar bas sees jhukana eh is dar di reeti ey. |

O' men, nobody bears the mark of caste on his body;
God never sent anyone classified as high or low. God's door is common for all, there is no consideration of rich and poor; God's door is common for all, there is no consideration of king and the courtier. False are the love and affection of the world, true is only the love for God. Avtar says, the only requirement of this divine door is to bow one's head (and obey). |
Meaning
God is one for all and other visible differences are man made. Nobody has any label of caste on his body. God never made anyone as high or low. Anybody can worship God; he never created different doors for rich or poor or for king and the courtier. False are the love and affection of the world, as it will perish with time. Only God's love is true. Baba Avtar Singh ji says, the only requirement for entering this divine door is to bow one's head (surrender and obey).
